Do check out The Art Of Rigging video tutorial series by Kiaran Ritchie (hope they're still available online). It still is one of the best explained information on rigging that I've found till date. I believe it has 3 volumes (zipped to about 9GB in total size)... the incomplete tail animation kinda reminded me of that so... just sharing!
Hope you finished this one! All the best for your future endeavors... Cheers!
Oh thanks for that.. Its still workin progress and I wanted to get the main cycle going first, since then I have had started more projects and it has been put on the back burner. Reason being I cannot decide which app to sculpt it in zbrush or mudbox as they both have flaws which really bug me.. But I will finish it.
Well, since I know nothing of those programs I am of no help to you on that matter... but I guess you should go with the program that will make the best end result. But you already knew that. Anyway, good luck with it. So what new projects are you working with?
Well seeing as halloween is approaching I have a 3d frankenstein character modeled and animated along with a 3d mummy which is animated but not textured. There is a mummy artwork being generated on my phone/tablet. I have a zombie boy as well if i can fit it in. So stay tuned....
@00:06gr8 work I've been trying to get included to DeviantFilm since May. please check out my page here, follow links to videos, & please advise me why my application is taking this long or if this is typical. I apologize for asking you,you were picked at random because u r where I want to be I figured if I find the right person to help me, via random search that may prove faster than the route I'm going.
@00:06Hi there sorry about the delay. I have been away for a couple of weeks. Now then about your problem?? As much as i would like to add you to Devintartfilm, I am unable to? it seems that you only get one chance to add other deviants and that has been currently exhausted.
Sorry about this as i know how frustrating it can be, maybe someone with full membership can help you better. But good luck in your en devour.
it's cool I have my vids up else where on my Facebook page: [link] but I'm getting frustrated by whole effort. But I got made Admin of the Rhinoceros group which is the modelling software I use so there are a coupla members there who might invite me.
Its weighting issues? At the moment its just basic Maya weighting which means parts of mesh that distort when the bones move. If you look at the head there are some spikes the protrude down. Its not a biggy but someone will have a hissy fit about it.
